Paul George Donates $10,000 to Local Child in Need
Pacers forward Paul George is making a big difference in the life of one local fan.
RTV6 recently ran a story about George’s efforts to help fifth-grader Daisy Esterline from Perry Township. Daisy has cerebral palsy, and her family has been trying for over a year to raise enough money to purchase a new wheelchair-accessible van.
George first met Daisy during a visit to Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health, where he and teammate C.J. Miles posed for a picture with the young fan:

On Sunday morning, Daisy’s father Howard tweeted at George asking for help. That evening, a new donation appeared on the family’s GoFundMe page: $10,000 from George, along with the message “Keep fighting daisy I am with you!”
Daisy’s brother then took to Twitter to thank George for his donation, and the Pacers star responded in kind:
@HelpOnTheWay23 you're welcome bro
